120 West 14th Street, North Vancouver, BC

Phillips Farevaag Smallenberg 2008

Working with Diamond Schmitt and CEI Architecture, Phillips Farevaag Smallenberg created a new open space for the 14th Street corridor that formalizes the relationship between City Hall and the new library, while creating a valuable new focus for North Vancouver’s civic precinct. This dramatic transoformation of a former parking lot provides a new outdoor living space, and a venue for celebrations and special events, informal daily activities, and neighbourhood gatherings.
