Located in Kanaka Creek Regional Park, the Centre features a series of outdoor rooms that demonstrate watershed stewardship and stormwater management. One of these is the “Roof to Creek Learning Landscape”, which demonstrates best practices for managing stormwater with a series of ponds and channels to capture, filter and cleanse run off before it enters Kanaka Creek. The park also offers interpretive exhibits, outdoor classroom spaces,and a fish hatchery to provide opportunities for people of all ages to connect to nature.
