ROTARY PIER

Waterfront near Murray Road, Sooke, BC

Small & Rossell Landscape Architects - 2004

This project represents the first phase of a larger waterfront park plan, prepared by Small & Rossell for the District of Sooke. It also forms a part of the boardwalk project at Ed Macgregor Park, and is now connected to the first section of the boardwalk. The pier offers access to the water for recreational crab-fishing and swimming, as well as floating wharves for temporary mooring.

This project was funded by the Rotary Club, and was constructed in partnership with Sooke Works, a work experience and job-sourcing organization.
