The Master Plan for the University of British Columbia Okanagan plans for an expansion that will triple the student population by 2010, creating a campus that retains and enhances the local landscape while referencing it with an open grassland landscape at the entrance, a pine forest and wetland habitat in the academic core. The greenhouse area continues the agricultural tradition of the Valley, and will be named the Productive Landscape Precinct.
