The Faculty Club was built with a donation from Leon and Thea Koerner. They wanted to give to the University a building that would allow the faculty to have a social center in a setting that was visual attractive with views to the ocean and local mountains. The garden consists of terraces with tables and chairs surrounding a series of gracefully sculpted pools and lawns.
