This memorial is dedicated to the 331 people who lost their lives in the 1985 Air India tragedy . Working under contract with the Vancouver Park Board, LEES + Associates collaborated closely with the Air India Review Secretariat and the victims’ families to develop a concept appropriate to the memory of those who perished. The development includes a playground at the south end of Ceperley Meadows.
