As part of the overall plaza design, Don Vaughan developed the public art component of the project, a fountain that explores the production of polished granite blocks as a sequence of discrete forms in space. The three pieces in this fountain include a split polished block with water flowing from it, a series of blocks that illustrate the transitional form, and finally a perfectly polished cube.
