CLEVELAND DAM ABUTMENT SEEPAGE CONTROL

This project involved construction of an underground cut-off wall and concrete “blanket” to prevent seepage from the Capilano Reservoir. As part of the construction, a very large steep slope was exposed. A landscape restoration of the area involved extensive bioengineering, i.e. erosion control using cuttings from living plants.
