In 2002, the Township of Langley received a CSLA Regional Merit Award for its skatepark facilities. Each of the 5 skateparks in the Township of Langley was designed by staff landscape architects with public input, and benefited from community initiative, support and participation. Embraced by the public, all four skateparks are located at a neighbourhood activity centres with complimentary activities such as basketball, climbing walls, BMX tracks.
