Pump Station Park incorporates multiple uses, despite the challenges associated with the hillside topography. A wheelchair accessible pathway meanders through a grove of native B.C. trees, shrubs and ground covers, circles around 2 tennis courts, and enters an open picnic area. Existing tennis and basketball courts were made accessible with a new wooden bridge and pathway reconstruction, and the park incorporates a butterfly garden, naturalized swales, and electrical outlets in picnic tables for visitors to recharge scooter and wheelchair batteries.
