The Shipyards development site is located in the Lower Lonsdale Town Centre in the City of North Vancouver . The site was formerly a shipyard, and is currently being redeveloped as a high density, mixed use area that includes residential, commercial, and amenity space. The restoration of two piers will provide waterfront access, while commemorating the maritime industrial history of the site and the City.
